Summer shoes: espadrilles selection

Hello lovelies,

I hope you’re having a wonderful week. I was getting inspiration for the next staple piece in my wardrobe this summer and I thought I would share it with you… I’m all into espadrilles right now!

Springtime brings a mood of renewal —> shopping. After a closet cleaning, I know clearly what my wardrobe needs. Plus, my lifestyle is completely changing right now, if you are following me on Instagram  you may got a glimpse of it in my captions. Otherwise, there will be a full blog post about it tomorrow or on Saturday, stay tuned.

It’s a major life update and something I have been dreaming of since forever, I am glad I can share it all here with you. The magic about blogging, is that you also create memories for yourself, my blog will soon be 1 year old (baby blog), and getting back to my very first blog posts is like looking at my childhood pictures: a mixed feeling of nostalgia, emotion and let’s face it a little bit of embarrassment. We don’t realise how much we are changing and evolving until we get back to old memories.

This makes me feel stronger about my next project, which is a Youtube channel. How great would it be to have video memories of my travels and wholesome lifestyle in 5, 10 or 20 years. Youtube would probably be an antique memory and we will get special vintage devices to look back at our videos, like we do with vinyles.

Back to the espadrilles…

My heart is vacillating between the slip-ons and the sandal espadrilles. Slip-ons are so practical when it comes to urban life, so easy to match, comfortable and I would literally just have to slip my feet in them. The sandals are more chic and feminine, and I already picture them with maxi bohemian dresses, I am particularly eying these ones from Unisa. I’m not sure if I will go for a solid metallic colour or a tribal print or leopard print. So, here are the picks that made it to my wishlist. If I am too impatient to wait for an online order, I can also get these beautiful ones from Oysho or these. I will buy them rather here in Morocco or half the price if I go to Spain. Insider tip: All the Spanish brands(Zara, Mango, Oysho, Stradivarius and… Massimo Dutti) are priced -20% to -50% in Spain, even when the collections are brand new. The metallic ones from Steve Madden are also gorgeous and I can them locally in their store.

By the way, Oysho current collection is crazy beautiful: all crochet, maxi dresses and lace bralettes #crush

I really like your writing style. I would like to make a suggestion/observation, I would maybe chose a bolder font, I found the light font with the bright white background made it difficult to read a little bit. Other than that I like your post 😉

I love slip ons but I’ve very picky about their look. Good luck with the youtube channel, I’m trying to find a the confidence to start mine!
