Free People first European store: Amsterdam

Nov 20, 2018Europe, Fashion, Style3 comments

My favourite bohemian luxe brand, Free People, just opened its first European store, precisely in Amsterdam.

It’s not a surprise for me because its sister brand Urban outfitters is already present, it’s actually my favourite UO store in the world. I love the selection and I find the store less overwhelming than the ones in the US.

For the occasion, Free People shot a beautiful editorial with the It-model of the moment Romee Strijd. Wanderlust guaranteed! Find it: here! (Psst! And don’t forget to enter the contest)

The store is located on “The Nine Streets” district, known to locals as De Negen Straatjes. A trendy and eclectic neighbourhood full of cafes, boutiques, shops and vintage stores surrounded by the iconic Amsterdam canals.

Free People Autumn/Winter 2018

Free People is certainl not on the affordable side, it’s worth investing in a statement timeless piece or two but a whole capsule wardrobe is more of a challenge. In the meantime it’s the perfect place to get your bohemian luxe fashion inspiration. The best is to mix luxe pieces with thrifted ones for a unique and elevated look. Don’t be intimidated and go look for the perfect piece according to your budget and enjoy it for years because their products are of good quality. You’ll see, even in my selection, they have a very wide price range, items retailing for less than 100$ and others more than 800$. Their vegan leather shoe and bag collection is more affordable for example, more so during the sale season in January 😉 Remember my Free People finds in New York?

Here are my favourite Free People pieces of the season and some outfit inspirations for different occasions:
