It’s been really cold in Morocco recently… And honestly if I have to be cold, I’d rather be cold in a cozy wooden chalet in Norway. Yes, yes you are probably tired of hearing that I dream of winter wonderlands instead of palm trees right now. Blame it on the internet!! All this amazing Christmas content that I am seeing all over the web has grown on me. Anyway, I’ll probably plan a Christmassy trip next December to calm the frustration.

This faux-fur coat is my best friend this winter! I bought it last January in one of my favourite thrift stores in Paris, and maybe the last that has reasonable prices: Freepstar. I was thrilled to acquire this thrift find!! I love animal prints, my friends sometimes make fun of me because of that, and I love fluffy, soft and cozy things, so this was perfect! Leopard faux-fur wasn’t even that hype last year, now I feel like every blogger has one. I found you a very similar one at H&m, linked above. Proof of how hype it is… H&M did it!

Also, I just received this striped pants from Shein. I ordered it for my next trip, which will be in a warmer destination. But I couldn’t’ wait to wear it. It doesn’t show here, but it’s really high waisted and I love it. I was afraid it was not going to fit, and I usually avoid ordering pants with those brands. Surprisingly it fits perfectly! And I have a challenging figure: full hips and a small waist, so I am having a hard time finding perfect fitted pants.

Meanwhile, the cold in here doesn’t prevent us from going outside, but with some serious layers! I am not sure if I told you guys, but we are now living in Bouznika. We used to come to Bouznika to eat grilled sardines in the weekends, and now the spot is just around the corner. The atmosphere is really different during the week. The place was initially a plant nursery and they transformed it into a fish grill. So we get to lunch in a lush garden, surrounded by animals: cats, dogs, chicken… you name it! On Sundays, it’s really entertaining to watch kids running around with chickens, feeding the cats and giving their parents some space to enjoy their meal.

It’s a great weekend activity in the area, with friends or family. Preferably after a surf session or a beach day 😉 The food is cheap, healthy, fresh and delicious!
