Summer series: Six tips to style leopard print tastefully
Hello lovelies,
Let me introduce one of my summer staples: the printed flowy shorts (#summerisnotover). This one is a leopard print bought from a Balinese designer: here . Leopard print is almost a neutral colour for me, you can wear it with any colour. Especially when it’s a printed accessory: bag, shoes or sunglasses. I don’t like print on print though I saw some looks, mixed with polka dots print that left me confused. Anyway, I am not here to question taste, luckily there are enough fashion blogs for everyone right now.
Leopard print is not necessarily vulgar, I love mixing it with romantic soft pieces, pastel colours or neutrals (especially white). I cease the opportunity to give you my tips to avoid the vulgar factor, when wearing leopard print:
#1 Avoid tight clothes when choosing a leo print piece: Mandatory!
#2 Choose natural leo print colours. I am not on board with green, red and pink leopard print. Snow leopard colours though are very pretty (because natural)
#3 Use leo print accessories as a neutral basic, I have ballet flats that I wear a lot to work, example here!
#4 Add a faux-fur leopard coat on a simple winter outfit for an instant chic vibe
#5 Keep it feminine and casual
#6 Wear it with a biker leather jacket and red lipstick for a rock’n roll vibe
If you like leopard print, share your tips too !
